FAQ
What are the supported wallets for Skale?
EVM compatible wallets such as Metamask and Rabby.
Is there a fee?
We charge a 15% commission fees for running staking infrastructure. The APY shown on the dashboard is the yield before deducting commissions. As SKL staking is native to Ethereum, do ensure that you have sufficient ETH in your wallet to pay for transaction gas fees.
What is the unbonding period?
Skale updates the network staking state once every epoch on the 1st day of each month at 0000hrs GMT. Once the staking state is updated to unstaking, the tokens will become liquid at the start of next epoch.
Example:
Unstakes on 15th Jan 2025
Staking state updates from staked to unstaking on 1st Feb 2025
SKL tokens become liquid and transferrable on 1st March 2025
You will not earn any rewards during the unbonding epoch.
How do I restake?
You have to manually withdraw rewards and stake again to compound returns. Do note that there is a minimum staking requirement of 10,000 SKL for each stake.
