We are in the midst of integrating WAL staking on Nansen Staking Hub.
For now, you can use any SUI compatible wallets on Walrus Portal to put your WAL to work:
Connect wallet, then search for the Nansen operator with the address 0x7b3ba6de2ae58283f60d5b8dc04bb9e90e4796b3b2e0dea75569f491275242e7
Click on the Stake button, insert the amount of WAL to stake, then click Continue
Sign the transaction from the wallet popup
Read the official WAL staking guide for more information.
FAQ
What are the supported wallets for Walrus
Sui wallet and Martian wallet.
Is there a fee?
We charge a 60% commission fees for running staking infrastructure. The APY shown on the dashboard is the yield before deducting commissions. As WAL staking is native to Sui network, do ensure that you have sufficient SUI in your wallet to pay for transaction gas fees.
What is the bonding period?
Each WAL epoch lasts approximately 2 weeks, which is substantially longer than a SUI epoch of 1 day. In order for your tokens to be bonded in the next epoch, the staking action must be initiated before the midpoint (1 week) of the current epoch, or else, they will only be initiated on the next next epoch (1 month). During this period, the tokens do not earn staking rewards and cannot be unstaked.
What is the unbonding period?
In order for your tokens to be unbonded in the next epoch, the unstaking action must be initiated before the midpoint (1 week) of the current epoch, or else, they will only be initiated on the next next epoch (1 month).
How do I restake?
Rewards are auto-compounded into the same stake object.
